SPECIAL PROJECT DEVELOPMENT TASSEL LOAFER ENGLISH
A challenging development work, one of the most difficult, as we only had a single photo, from just one angle, made for our Argentinean client friend, Carlos Cardama.
He came up with the idea of developing this English style Tassel Loafer, in a combination of smooth leather and fabric (jute) and mixing 2 distinct colors.
First, I analyzed the feasibility of doing it, and we started choosing the shoe toe. This development was more affordable, as the client chose to make a last/toe that we already had here. I put together the budget and sent it to the client.
After the budget was approved, the client chose the leather and color, and we decided to make the sole the same as the original model. Once the budget was made, the client decided to continue with the development, the first stage of which was the development of the model (cutting out the shoe).
We cannot rush any development we do. We always make a sample shoe first so the client can come and try it on and evaluate any changes or not. Only after the client has given final approval do we continue with the shoe. We always take this care.
